Hawaii Island, Kauai April home sales see Covid effect, but prices hold

Home sales on Hawaii Island and Kauai began to see the effects of the coronavirus in April, especially condominiums, which posted declines in both the number of sales and median prices, while single-family home prices increased despite a drop in sales, according to statistics provided by Hawaii Information Service on behalf of Hawaii Island Realtors and the Kauai Board of Realtors.

Hawaii Realtors forms new charitable foundation, gives $50K to Isle food banks

Hawaii Realtors, the statewide trade association for the real estate industry in Hawaii, has launched the Hawaii Realtors Charitable Foundation and is giving $50,000 to food banks across the Islands, which have been impacted by the coronavirus.
